Dear Parents,
I am so EXCITED about having YOUR CHILDREN in childrens church!
We are on a life journey together: loving, teaching and educating your children to become all that God has planned for them to be.
I thank you for entrusting your children to me. It is my honor and great privilege to help train your children to walk in the ways of the living God!
My VISION for this childrens ministry is found in:
Psalm 144:1
Blessed be the Lord my Rock,
Who trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle.
If our children REMEMBER what to do in times of trouble (their hands are trained for war) and if they ARE ABLE TO USE what they have learned and start fighting the enemy (their fingers are trained for battle) we know that they will prosper and reach their full potential of Gods calling on their lives.
It touches my heart to see little warriors crying out to GOD and HIM listening and answering their prayers. I think sometimes we forget how capable these little ones are to change this world! When I look at the children I can already see Pastors, leaders, missionaries, intercessors, Prophets and, worshippers.
God has placed His specific calling in them and it is up to us to nurture the little oak tree build and create a place for each and every single child to feel safe enough to grow into a strong oak tree with deep roots.
We dont want our children to just know God. We want them to have a friendship with Jesus in such a deep way that every hour, minute, second of each day is filled with His presence in their lives. We dont ever want them to just talk about Jesus as a stranger, we want them to talk about Jesus as the one they met personally!
We want to form Godly character and stir up the gifts of the Holy Spirit inside of them!
This is what God said to Jeremiah and what he says to your child:
Jeremiah 1:4-8
The Lord gave me a message. He said, I knew you before I formed you in your mothers womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world. O Sovereign, Lord, I said, I cant speak for you! Im too young! Dont say that, the Lord replied, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And dont be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!
A thought at the end
What do we expect? Do we truly believe that God will use our children like he said he would?
Dont be surprised when your child starts hearing the voice of God, or prays for the sick at the mall or simply starts reading his Bible in the morning
it just means he/she is growing into a beautiful oak tree planted by the rivers of water!
MAY THE LIVING GOD RAISE UP A GENERATION WITH BURNING HEARTS!!!

Praying is talking to God, his son Jesus and the Holy Spirit
Did you know you can talk to God anywhere at anytime?
Did you know that God thinks about you all the time?
Did you know God wants to be your very best friend?
Did you know that he even knew you when you were in your moms tummy?
Did you know that he wants to talk to you?
Did you know that he loves you more then you can imagine?
Did you know that he wants to be with you every day of your life?
Did you know that he said he will never leave you no matter what?
Did you know that when you do things wrong that is called sin?
Did you know there is a Heaven (where God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the angels live) and there is a Hell (where the devil and his
helpers the demons live)
Did you know that when we die we go either to heaven to be with God or we go to Hell to be with Satan?
Did you know that God wants you and everyone on this planet to go to Heaven to be with Him?
Did you know we have to do something very simple but serious to get there?
Did you know that Gods son Jesus Christ died for everyones sin in this whole world?
Did you know that he can take away your sins too?
Did you know that you can ASK Jesus Christ to take sin away from you heart and tell him you are sorry?
Did you know you can ask him to come and life inside of you?
Did you know that now he is inside of you?
Did you know that now you dont have to feel bad about the things you did wrong anymore because they are gone?
Did you know that God said now he cant even remember what you have done wrong?
Did you know that God will always love you for the rest of your life?
Did you know you can ask him right now?
Lets pray (talk to God, his Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit)
Dear Jesus,
I didnt know all these things about you! This is really cool stuff. I know I have done a lot of wrong things (name some things that you have done wrong
like lying, not listening to your parents, cursing, stealing, making fun of other people).
I am so sorry Jesus!
Please take the sin (the things Ive done wrong away from me) and come and live inside of me! I am so happy you love me. I want you to life inside of me for the rest of my life!
Thank you Jesus!
